What is RLP? RLP was created at the request of JT Bates’ dealer partners to complement our existing Rental Equipment Protection (REP) program. While REP protects the rented equipment itself, RLP extends coverage to other property that may be damaged during equipment operation.

How It Works When renting from a dealership offering RLP, customers can add liability protection to their rental contract for a small fee the pricing structure is similar to rental equipment protection. This coverage ensures that, in the event of third-party property damage or bodily injury, renters can walk away with confidence after paying the deductible.
Claims Process If an accident occurs, the renter notifies the dealership, which then contacts JT Bates’ claims team. After submitting a statement and paying the deductible, the renter is protected from further financial burden.
