Smith joined JT Bates Group in 2011 and most recently served as operations manager, where she directly or indirectly manages a team of twelve associates. During her time at JT Bates Group, she has gained experience in certificate management, managed claims, obtained her producer’s license, and most recently helped design a new product called Rental Shield.
Rental Shield allows us to target a different customer and diversify our business. We can do this while meeting the growing demand in the marketplace for a short-term insurance product. It’s a testament to Miriah’s dedication to driving our business forward and serving the industry well. She’s an asset to our team, and we’re blessed to have her working here,” said Bates.
